Kirkby Lonsdale is on the borders of three counties, Cumbria, Yorkshire Dales and Lancashire, with two national parks and an area of outstanding natural beauty all within a few miles of the inn you will be spoilt for things to do and see.

The eleven high quality bed and breakfast rooms offer deluxe and superior accommodation and luxury, such as pillow-top mattress bed to ensure you have a relaxing stay and enjoy your bed and breakfast in every comfort. Locally sourced food and award winning sausages and bacon from our own Kirkby Lonsdale butcher, make a fantastic breakfast, equally matched by our award winning dinner menu.

'The Sun Inn in Kirkby Lonsdale has been under our ownership since March 2006 when we gave up our jobs to buy the old pub with rooms and create a five star Lake District inn. The inn has developed over time, including 11 completely new bedrooms and bathrooms and we completed the last major transformations over a year ago now.
