At the Sun Inn, Kirkby Lonsdale, we are passionate about wine. We believe in offering a good choice of wine from around the world served in high quality glassware to reflect our position as the five star inn in Kirkby Lonsdale.
As a five star Lake District Inn, we take our wine as seriously as our beer. We use a local company to supply our wine, EWGA based in Warton, near to Kirkby Lonsdale, provide us with a fantastic selection of European and Worldwide wine including organic red and white wine. We offer nine wines by the glass as well, so plenty to choose from.
When dining at the Sun Inn we want you to have a great experience and wine is a very important part of that. Some of you will know exactly what wine you want, if not, our wine list suggests some great food and wine combinations and we hope this will encourage you to try something new. Some wines really benefit from decanting and we will recommend this when appropriate but the choice is yours.
