Flag stone and oak floors, roaring log fires, simple furniture and feather cushion window seats create a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
At the Sun Inn we serve four cask ales including Jennings Cumberland Ale brewed in Cockermouth in the north Lake District, award winning Timothy Taylor Landlord brewed in Skipton at the bottom of the Yorkshire Dales, Hawkeshead Bitter brewed in Hawkeshead in the southern Lake District and for those that like their beer strong; Marstons Pedigree from Stoke-on-Trent.
Our wine list is full and varied with wines from around the globe plus our new addition of organic wines. We have five fabulous house reds, four house whites and two house roses, all served by the glass.
